Help Paying Your Bill at Jewish Home & Rehab Center

If you need help paying your bill or to apply for our Charity Care and Discount Payment financial assistance programs that can help you pay your bill, support is available from one of our members of the Patient Financial Servies Department.

Eligibility Information

To be eligible for the Charity Care Program:

  • The resident’s family household income may not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level

  • To be eligible for the Discount Payment Program:

  • The resident does not qualify for the Charity Care Program for their household’s income exceeding 200% of the federal poverty level
  • The resident’s household income is between 200-400% of the federal poverty level and that value determines the amount of the discount to be applied

  • How to Apply for Financial Assistance

    Jewish Home & Rehab Center has a single application for both the Charity Care and Discount Payment programs. Each program has different eligibility requirements, as described below. Residents must provide a completed application and all required verification.

  • Verification required by each program must be submitted within 30 days of starting an application.

    Hospital Bill Complaint Program

    The Hospital Bill Complaint Program is a state program, which reviews hospital decisions about whether you qualify for help paying your hospital bill. If you believe you were wrongly denied financial assistance, you may file a complaint with the Hospital Bill Complaint Program.
